Temporary Road Closure – Gallants Lane, East Farleigh

Please note, the diversion for these works has been amended. The new alternative route for any through traffic is via Gallants Lane, B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Ewell Lane, B2010 Lower Road, Gallants Lane and vice versa.

South East Water – Temporary Road Closure – Gallants Lane, East Farleigh – 23rd February 2026 (Maidstone District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of Gallants Lane, East Farleigh, from 23rd February 2026 with estimated completion by 25th February 2026.

Gallants Lane, East Farleigh, will be closed in the vicinity of Gallants Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Gallants Lane, Wilsons Lane, Vicarage Lane, The Green, B2010 Lower Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow new water main connection works to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.
