Notice of Road Closure – Straw Mill Hill, Tovil

Emergency Road Closure – Straw Mill Hill, Tovil – 1st September 2025 (Maidstone)

It will be necessary to close Straw Mill Hill, Tovil from 1st September 2025 for up to 26 days.

The road will be closed at the junction with Cave Hill, Tovil.

The alternative route is via
Southbound Diversion: Stockett Lane, B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Hill, A229 Loose Road, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill. Northbound Diversion: B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, Old Tovil Road, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Loose Road, A229 Linton Road, B2163 Heath Road, Stockett Lane.

This is to enable sewer repairs and maintenance to be carried out by Tamdown.
