Scenic Green Trail – Waymarker Installation Completed

Tovil Parish Council is pleased to share an update on the continued progress of the Scenic Green Trail within our parish.

Early November saw volunteers from the Valley Conservation Society, led by John Robertson and Sam, complete the installation of way markers along the section between Woodbridge Drive and Ivy Mill Lane. This work forms part of the wider effort to improve accessibility, navigation and enjoyment of the trail for residents and visitors.
The Parish Council extends its thanks to John and Sam for their time and expertise. Their careful installation work, combined with recent publicity through the VCS website and social media channels, is helping to make the route clearer and more welcoming. A QR code link to the new online trail information will be made available shortly for public use.

On the VCS website, there is now a page which explains more about the trail and has a copy of the walker’s guide for visitors to download.

The Council welcomes this positive collaboration between local volunteers and community groups. We look forward to supporting further ideas that will help highlight and strengthen the importance of our delightful and vital local green spaces in Tovil.
